A medium sized specimen with a narrow conical crown 12-15m high.
Semi evergreen.
Produces rich glossy green foliage from April, turning yellow to orange in autumn and scarlet to purple at Christmas depending on soil type and location. White individual flowers appear in April and fill the crown indicating the first sign of spring. Ideal centre feature. Suitable for street, avenue, coastal and exposed sites. Adapts to most soils.
